Pay Attention to the Messages and Ideas Sent Your Way!

Life is good.  I have taken the time to reflect on what is happening around INTEGRITY Institute.  Learning to go with the flow, I now have a greater sense for those who send the messages, and how I receive them.  Processing the information is also important to allow me and the company to grow.  A lot of this comes from maturity.

Passions drive me.  Since 1968 one of my passions has, at times, nearly consumed me.  My first overwhelming message in this area came in 1979 with a purchase.  To this day this love of mine continues to drive me.  Recently I had the opportunity to deepen this passion by applying it to my business. It first came to me in an offer to partner in a business that supports my passion.  The next message came from a business supporting this passion that needs help in growing their prospects and referrals.  In the mean time I discovered an expert in this area of passion who will guide me to help others.  Now, I am on to meet the next person who I can work with to support their passions as well as contribute to their success.

I love to network.  I have paid closer attention in the last few years to up my networking game.  Paying closer attention means applying measurement and management systems.  As a public presenter I am spending more time in this sphere of influence.  A few of the people I have interacted with have given me colossal ideas which have stimulated the thoughts of creating a greater organization.  One gentleman allowed me to discover a unique idea for creating a network of collaboration where we assemble individuals who, as a team, support businesses from the front door to the back door.  Another fellow, shortly after meeting the first, is now being introduced to me so that I can be included in an existing networking team of business professionals who support all aspects of business development from front to back.

It seems like the more open I am to going with the flow, I get new ideas and messages sent my way from people I allow to get close to me.  I am a better listener.  These are new people and some are long time friends.  What I love are clients who have become friends over the years.  I also love meeting new people who become messengers delivering new ideas.  The exchange of ideas is extremely stimulating.  One goal this year is to meet 100 new people that will have a significant impact on my life.  I am well on my way to meeting that goal.  Most likely, as I stay on my pace (yes, I am measuring this monthly) I will exceed the goal.  My new openness and stability allow the creation of new ideas and meaningful messaging.

I observe many of my business colleagues forcing these issues rather than letting them come from others or a spiritual connection.    They avoid paying attention to messages and ideas delivered by others.  It is as if they have total control of their destiny.  They are the creators.  Please understand, I am totally for creating the canvas on which our ideas and messages come from.  Mastermind groups, brainstorming sessions, and networks of influential associates can all be wonderful resources for growing messages and ideas.  The importance is to pay attention, record what the message or idea is that is offered, do your research, and then put it into action.  Measure and manage the outcomes so as to get a result that moves you to the next place to create success.
