How to Make 2009 Real Fine!

The results are in.  I am impressed!  Let me explain.

In November of 2008 I was reunited with a client I had worked with in 2005.  In 2004 she earned approximately $45,000.  While working with me in 2005 she earned $145,000.  In November she contacted me telling me that she had hit a “rough patch” in her life.  She shared some personal issues and told me how she needed a roommate immediately, wanted to relocate to a specific community, had specific financial goals to maintain her life style, and needed a new job/career. I immediately suggested she to go www.abraham-hicks.com, which she did.  She also got copies of Jerry and Esther Hick’s books Ask and It Is Given, The Law of Attraction (the background work behind The Secret by Rhonda Byrne), and The Astonishing Power of Emotions.  She started reading and practicing what was written by the Hicks’.  She and I have spoken weekly since November.

The results to date:

  • A roommate in less than a week.  They and their dogs have become fast friends.
  • Job interviews appeared instantly.  She continues to receive job interviews with offers to make a minimum $20,000 per year more than her budget.  Some offers could exceed $50,000 over her minimum budget.
  • The place where she wants to live will be available on the date she wants to move in.  This is a specific rental property that she wanted to access.  When she inquired about this specific property she discovered that the tenant was planning on moving out just when she wanted to move in.
  • Business opportunities in her area of expertise are abundantly available.  She has checked in with old employers (in service organizations she has worked in) who have positions available.  New job opportunities are making themselves available in her areas of expertise and in areas she wants to develop.

Some who read this might say “Coincidence!”  I just received this quote by email from a business associate who would respond to coincidence, “If you keep on doing what you’re doing … you’re going to keep on getting what you are getting!”   Does this sound all too familiar to you?

This morning I was saying to Lynne that I want to do more public speaking in 2009.  During my first appointment this morning, I was offered a speaking opportunity to speak to 20 of my contemporaries.  The purpose of that first meeting this morning was something other than getting together to talk about my desire to speak.  The person I was meeting had no idea of my intention to speak more in 2009.  I put the intention out that I want to speak more in 2009.  I will speak more in 2009.

What is it that you want more of? The results you want are in.  You too can be impressed!  Become clear on what it is that you want.  Ask for it and you will receive.
